What moves me.
The impressions of light and colour create an awareness of their beauty and variety of our natural world. The fun of observing endless colour is a lifelong preoccupation, one that never becomes tiresome. Photographs or impressions showcased here are never intended for the search of visual truth. Rather these are revelations of the photographer.
With his varied background in engineering and technology, learning the technical equipment was a natural step. He started serious photography work in 2007. His keen interest in masters works like Ansel Adams and Edward Weston tutored his fine compositions. The interest in impressionist painters like Monet nourished his colour sense.
Rithwik is a software professional, an ardent nature lover, a trained mountaineer and a passionate photographer and an aerial photographer. A life member of Photographic Society of Madras for over a decade and has also been the President of society. He has received numerous awards and recognitions in photography for his works and has participated in several photography salons and competitions across the world. He is also conferred with Junior Fellowship — Award of fellowship to outstanding person in the field of culture by Ministry of Culture, Government of India for his works in Landscapes.
